Living Is A Problem Because Everything Dies - Biffy Clyro

I’ve been getting into Biffy Clyro a lot recently. As Phil puts it, they’re the thinking man’s emo. I’m always amazed by the soothing appeal of sad music, because in my experience “I listen to pop music because I’m miserable”, not the other way round. It offers a human connection to someone else who has gone through the same emotions as you, reminding you that you’re not alone in your problem. Whereas listening to happy music could make you further embittered that the world doesn’t care.
