I’m so happy for the Middle East - on a purely selfish level - it’s a nice chapter of history to live through. I sometimes feel our generation has been a bit short changed with global warming, international terrorism, commerical R&B, the credit crunch and all that. We missed the party when the Berlin Wall came down, or the WW2 ended, or when man walked on the moon. - The Jasmine Revolution is a sensitizing shift that reminds me how amazing lots of human beings can be - of course, in the same breath, all the hundreds who died, or committed suicide are the sombering reality check, but still, I hope I live in a way that justifies my freedom of speech, seeing as how so many people have struggled and died to get theirs. My friend Tom Wilcox, from a letter he just sent me.
